        We are looking for an individual to work in our Hyderabad office for the Operations and Recruitment (OR) team, which supports D. E. Shaw Research, in a wide variety of functions. D. E. Shaw Research (DESRES), based in New York City, develops and uses advanced computational technologies to understand the behavior of biologically and pharmaceutically significant molecules at an atomic level of detail and to design precisely targeted, highly selective drugs for the treatment of various diseases. Among its core technologies is Anton, a proprietary special-purpose supercomputer that DESRES designed and constructed to vastly accelerate the process of molecular dynamics simulation. DESRES uses Anton machines and high-speed commodity hardware, together with machine learning methods and other computational techniques, in both internal and collaborative drug discovery programs.         What you’ll do day-to-day

        You will design, refine, and implement customized sourcing strategies to identify and recruit world-class talent. You will contribute to a variety of recruitment-related activities and workflows at all stages of the candidate lifecycle. Additionally, you will identify, research, and curate machine learning datasets to enable the training of proprietary ML models. You will contribute to human capital operations such as onboarding and processing benefits and reimbursements. You will also contribute to events such as on-campus career fairs, recruiting talks, and conferences attended by the technical team members. You will be responsible for overall management of the group’s advertising and marketing efforts and statistical analysis of operational, recruitment, and technical data. You will be involved in end-to-end management of the interview process, including scheduling and feedback collation from hiring managers and providing a seamless candidate experience. You will work with the group’s scientists and track trends and technological advancements relevant to the drug discovery efforts. Moreover, you will support the group's corporate development team by tracking scientific publications and analyzing supercomputer data.

        Basic qualifications:

        • A graduate/master’s degree from any discipline with no current backlogs with 6 months to 3 years of experience
        • The ability to be exceptionally amiable and highly motivated creative thinkers
        • The ability to demonstrate attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills
