        Specialist/Senior Specialist - Global Recruitment Operations (Talent Acquisition)

        We are seeking a Competitor Intelligence and Recruitment Operations Specialist to join our Global Recruitment Operations (GRO) team, which is a part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team based in the firm’s offices in Hyderabad/Bengaluru. The role offers a challenging work environment and excellent opportunities to learn and grow within the Human Capital function while collaborating with key stakeholders across geographies to play a significant role in supporting the firm’s recruitment efforts. This unique role combines competitive market analysis with hands-on recruitment operations, ideal for someone who is analytical and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        You will be heavily responsible for carrying out various complex operations that support global recruitment across geographies, including India and New York, for the D. E. Shaw group. You will need to ensure delivery of high-quality work within stipulated timelines and interact with the larger Talent Acquisition teams. These would include, but not limited to performing various recruitment operation tasks. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and stakeholders, providing timely updates and information throughout the recruitment process to keep all parties informed and engaged. Additionally, a small portion of your work will involve conducting secondary market research, including talent mapping, competitor intelligence, and market analysis, to identify trends and sourcing opportunities. You will develop SWOT analyses, create dashboards, and provide insights on market and competitor strategies. You will offer recommendations to Talent Acquisition, research skills and geolocation strategies, review tools to support Talent Intelligence needs, and assist with ad-hoc analysis.

        Who we’re looking for

        • A graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience
        • Have a keen eye for detail and process along with the ability to work in an ever-changing environment
        • Be capable of working in an agile environment and manage tasks of varying complexities and timelines, in an operational setup
        • Be proficient in primary and secondary market research
        • Possess knowledge about the talent landscape, including current job market and technology trends
        • Be familiar with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, and Talent Neuron, etc.
        • Have proficient communication skills
