        Senior Analyst/Manager - Financial Operations

        Join our Financial Operations team in Bengaluru

        We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our Financial Operations group, based out of the firm’s Bengaluru office.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        If hired, you will support one or more of the functions mentioned below: Financial Reporting/Management Company Accounting: In this role, you will collaborate with a number of senior stakeholders at the time of new fund launches, assist in setting up complex fund structures and transactions, conduct historical as well as projected analyses of fund performance, conduct technical accounting analysis for complex financial instruments, and handle bespoke requests from various internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), business unit (BU) heads, government regulators, and portfolio managers to provide key performance metrics to facilitate effective decision-making through insightful reporting, analyses, and recommendations within the MCA team. This involves P&L analysis, expense allocation, budgeting, cash management, financial and regulatory reporting, and finalization of audits for global management company entities. Additionally, the aforementioned roles will require you to handle change management processes, understand and analyze changes in the firm’s businesses and incorporate these changes into the firm’s financial reporting infrastructure. You will drive technology projects to develop reporting and analysis tools (including Power BI, Power Query, and Alteryx), streamline workflows, and enhance the user experience. You will also involve staying abreast of developments in technical accounting, primarily U.S. GAAP, UK GAAP, and HK GAAP, to provide accounting guidance, adopt new accounting standards, and maintain the firm's accounting policy manual. Investor Relations: You will create and review marketing and investor materials intended for prospects, investors, and senior management, ensuring they are compelling and data-driven. You will prepare and oversee Request for Proposals (RFPs) to support fundraising initiatives, leveraging your analytical skills to tailor responses effectively. You will engage with various internal teams to gather and analyze data, understand workflows, and establish robust controls in the preparation and review processes. You will also coordinate closely with counterparts in New York to manage and ensure seamless project delivery. You will act as the primary point of contact and reviewer for junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will lead self-automation initiatives and collaborate with our in-house tech team to build better automation solutions.

        Who we’re looking for

        • A master’s degree in finance or Chartered Accountancy degree, along with 2 to 4 years of work experience in the financial services industry
        • Self-motivation, a results-oriented mindset, robust analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to learn quickly, high attention to detail, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal skills
