        Product Manager/Product Management (DESIM)

        Join our Front Office Tech team in Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Gurugram

        We are looking for a resourceful Product Manager to join our DESIM Tech team in our firm’s offices in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurugram. The team provides comprehensive technology support to the DESIM group, our institutional asset management division. The technological responsibilities include strategic product management that facilitates trade management, portfolio analytics, and customized workflow automations.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        In this role, you will define the product strategy, create a roadmap, and ensure alignment with business goals. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business, UX, and engineering teams to align product development with the overall business strategy and manage communications with various entities such as trading desks and software teams. Additionally, you will also oversee the execution of product features, manage feedback, and make necessary adjustments for continuous product improvement. You will also own various delivery phase items such as beta rollout, product announcements, and user feedback collection. Your responsibilities will include streamlining project management practices, coordinating user-facing projects, and managing project prioritization while maintaining communication with stakeholders about project timelines and progress. Furthermore, you will be expected to have an exceptional understanding of product and program management principles, excellent communication skills, and a focus on both strategic and tactical aspects of product development.

        Who we’re looking for

        • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related engineering discipline and either an MBA degree from any top college/university or relevant/proven product management academic experience
        • Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years to a maximum of 14 years of experience, with minimum 3 years of experience in finance industry
        • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on software development and 5 years of product management
        • The candidate should be able to successfully identify and launch excellent products
        • Candidate should have the ability to understand and appreciate technologies and relevance to the product
        • The ideal candidate should display a high level of maturity and collaborative aptitude to work with senior stakeholders
        • The candidate should have prior experience in managing multiple projects with competing priorities
        • The ideal candidate should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
        • Candidate should have excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
        • Candidates having any relevant certifications like CFA, PMP etcetera will have an added advantage
