        Manager/Senior Manager - Compliance (Financial Operations)

        Join our Financial Operations team in Hyderabad or Gurugram

        The firm is looking for a manager to join its Legal & Compliance team based in the firm’s office in Hyderabad/Gurugram. This role involves working closely with attorneys and compliance professionals to help ensure that the firm’s business activities are conducted in strict accordance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will include leading the group out of the Hyderabad/Gurugram office, preparing regulatory filings, supervising review of compliance monitoring reports, and ensuring adherence to compliance policies.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        You will oversee all processes and deliverables of the Trade Monitoring & Analytics (TMA) team that deals with some of the most complex, critical, and time sensitive process to support the trading & front office teams in their day-to-day decision making. This team performs thorough analysis of various business activities of the front office group including ownership monitoring, both long positions and short positions across asset classes i.e., Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives securities etc., and providing certain advisory services to front office on various regulatory frameworks applicable to the business activities performed by them. This function also deals with implementing controls to ensure compliance with various regulations imposed by SEC, ESMA, FCA, NFA, CFTC etc. Additionally, you will also be responsible for effectively mentoring team members to drive performance, set goals, and manage their career development and maintain control over resource allocation and budget requirements. You will also be required to represent the group during meetings with senior management and in various discussions, activities, and initiatives pertaining to the firm’s financial operations.

        Who we’re looking for

        Basic qualifications:

        • A Master’s degree in finance, Chartered Accountancy (CA) or equivalent, with 9 - 12 years of work experience in the financial services industry
        • Self-motivation, a results-oriented mindset, robust analytical and problem-solving skills, learning agility, attention to detail, capability to work in an agile environment and the capacity to meet tight deadlines
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal skills
