DESIS employees are involved in a wide range of projects, depending on our current activities and on the interests and capabilities of the individual in question. The firm is extremely selective in its hiring, and can give serious consideration only to individuals having extraordinary intellectual capabilities, communication skills, and general "real world" competence.

If you are interested in being considered for a position at DESIS, please submit your CV online. You'll be asked to fill out an information sheet to help us collect certain additional data required to supplement your CV. If we think there might be a good match between your background and our needs, we'll schedule a phone interview, which may be followed, if appropriate, by one or more in-person interviews at our office and, finally, by the collection of references. If you are not currently located in India but wish to return to or move to India for employment, we'll make alternative arrangements for your interviews.

The Job Opportunities page has a sampling of full-time positions open at the firm. It's worth noting, however, that there are generally a wide range of full-time positions available in addition to those listed on this page. We would be happy to review your CV even if you haven't been able to identify a particular opening that seems well suited to your background or interests. While some positions require domain-specific experience, our organisation is relatively unusual in that we value evidence of raw ability and extraordinary competence over specific experience. In fact, if your background is unusually impressive but does not happen to match any of our current openings, we might well create a new position for you rather than miss the opportunity to hire an extraordinarily gifted individual. We consider each CV for all appropriate positions at the firm, so there's no need to submit your CV separately for multiple positions.
